OUR MISSION:
Our mission at the pinkribbonwalkstore.com is to provide both breast cancer walkers and crew with quality and affordable pink ribbon items specifically chosen with them in mind. OUR PRODUCTS: The concept of the PinkRibbonWalkStore.com began in early 2001 when we registered for our first breast cancer walks. We began looking for pink ribbon walking apparel, camping gear, breast cancer gifts and fund raising items. For over seven years, during over thirty events, we continued to make our own personal list of the quality pink ribbon products we used the most, the items that were the hardest to find and the products we found to be the most appropriate and affordable to those of us participating in multi-day events. We have also paid special attention to what we call "regional items" that we see each year at one or two breast cancer walks in some regions of the country that we feel would be a real hit in any city. We opened our doors with what we feel are just a few of the most important items we own, pink ribbon walking shorts and our pink ribbon photo memory mat. Our walking shorts are the only ones we own. Quiet frankly, they are simply the best, designed and manufactured by a woman for women. Our pink ribbon photo memory mats were designed by us to give life to the hundreds of memories in the form of pictures tucked away in computers and albums. Displaying our breast cancer walk pictures in style gives us pleasure and allows us to support breast cancer awareness. SHARING OUR EXPERIENCE: Our Free Tips gives us a chance to share the experiences we have had on our breast cancer walks. Every time we think we have seen it all or we know it all, we have the opportunity to learn something new. The pinkribbonwalkstore.com gives us the ability to pass this information on to our customers in hopes of helping make their experience even more enjoyable. COMMITTMENT TO THE CAUSE: We will continue our commitment to the cause with a portion of all sales being donated to the fight against breast cancer and finding the cure. We have been committed to this cause for years, raising thousands of dollars for the Avon Walk for Breast Cancer and the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer 3-Day.
